My dad bought a '69 short bed 2wd with a 250 6cly and sw465 trany from a local fire dept. It was originally a millitary truck that was sold to the forest sevice and the to the town for use as the fire truck. it was olive green on the inside and lime green over forest green over olive green on the out side. It had a metal plate on the dash with some(Idon't remember exactly) govt info on it such as serial #s and destination codes. very similar to the Jeep M715 I had for a while. It had a posi rear dana 44 and only 17000 miles when he bought it. Not sure about and outside markings and trim as the FD had changed it quite a bit.
