here's mine - hard to see the glovebox trim in this pic, but it's the same silver as the gauge surround and the letters are black (I added that - the one that was on it when I bought the truck was ALL silver, even the letters, but didn't look original). This is a good question - I've only seen black and silver too - and always wondered if either was correct - or if both were - and if so, how would one have ordered silver vs. black from the dealer? It's not an option that I know of - or perhaps was silver part of the custom cab pkg??

The one with the Sun STII is the silver color it was before I painted it silver again... (painted it when I had it out to install the in-dash tach and the parking brake light setup).
