Your truck could have been optioned with a taller tire and rim from the factory. You could use any larger wheel and tire till 1975 then? The 74 Chevrolet Blazer had a 15"x8" standard steel wheel available from the factory that looks identical to your stock 5" steel wheel. You could option the truck originally with up to a 7.00 x 17.5" tire
