It seems, that the maximum tire size on 15"" rims was G78x15 or 8.15x15. Converted: 225/75/15.
Hmm, still a little bit skinny.
In worst-case I assemble this wheels for the inspection day, and later the old ones back.
Problem is, that the allowed tire size is written in the German vehicle registration document. The next police stop could be a problem.
