Started on the trans tunnel tonight. I bent 3/4" box and welded it in, now I have to cut some 1" box and put between the back 2 cross supports. Then I can cut out the cross braces. The drive shaft does not move up and down because of the corvette rear. Next is to sheet metal the tunnel and the start on the floor. The floor will have the recessed panels like the floor on the 54 I did. It makes them a lot stronger. The front of the tunnel will be removable. I am also working on some belt line pieces also.
