Not quite. =-) There are no pins in gm automotive locks. Its wafers, precut to correspond with the key cut.

To rekey the door locks you need to pry off the bezel (gm dealer, or a locksmith will have new ones, the tabs usually break off), flapper door, slip out the cylinder and place correct wafer in appropriate posistion, slip cylinder back into housing, put on new bezel, tap over the tabs and viola.
