Studebaker engine???
Hey! Good score, rust not too bad, considering your locale. Looks like the old rope-style door latches still work!
Is that engine akin to Studebaker 6's, or is it Nash? I don't remember.
Anyway, hope you get what ou want out of it. Phaetons make nice "big" cars, for family touring. In one of these, you could take most of today's "average" families for a rod run. Then, the purists could raise heck and dis you for "ruining" a perfectly good old car. Sometimes, they just don't understand the economics of old car life...because some of them have more money than street smarts.
Then, there is me....wishing I had enough money to buy the hot rod I'd like to have because I don't have the tenacity and do-rey-mi to build one myself. I guess that's why there is such as thing as a "Check Book Classic".
