Guys, Even though many trucks on the board have trailing arm suspensions these are not NASCAR racers. They are not very crashworthy! Too many things can go wrong when you are trying to see what it can do. At work I used to be able to take a car out and wind it as fast as it would go. It was a great feeling, but I was also safely on a 5 mile, one way track with speed restricted lanes. Open it up and head for the outer lane.
If you must, drive and use a data logger not your eyeballs on a speedo or GPS to see what an attained speed is. Do it in a safe controlled enviroment as well.
