I feel like an idiot.

I called it tin can. I know better. It is oil canning. Does your dent puller have a shrinking tip on it? It looks like a mushroom. I've used it before to heat up an area and quench it with cold water. It works just takes practice. YouTube also has several videos on shrinking metal.
