yikes!! sounds like a nasty task. Good for learning, maybe, but nasty. I guess if it's far-gone, it's not like I could make it much worse.
I'd been wondering about shaving 'em anyway; does that cause any day to day problems like water dripping through open windows or anything? Rotting the windshield frame maybe?
