Looks good to me. If it matches your door panels and the part you will use on the instrument cluster, what's the problem?
A friend gave me a full roll of DyNoc vinyl in a GM parts "tube" that is from the mid-Seventies and intended for use on the exterior of one of the GM wagons with woodgrain. I have debated with myself about using it to do my cluster and glovebox door. I have door panels from a '70 that have the woodgrain strip below the window, so thinking about making it all match. I don't have a Cheyenne, but a Custom DeLuxe. Since it isn't a resto, what difference will it make to me? It'll look good. Besides, woodgrain was a big styling gimmick in the mid-Seventies and it won't look like it is from the wrong era.
