Yes a K20 is a 3/4 ton. I will warn you now on the rear axle, K10's (1/2 tons) and K20's (3/4 tons) have a different spring spacing than a K30 (1 tons). So if you are going to use the 3/4 ton brackets you will have to move the spring perches outward on the rear axle. Also a little side note, I believe I remember you saying your truck is an 88, so you will need the front core support/spring mounts from a 81 - 87(91). These are all the same between a 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ton. The only difference between any of the brackets is the rear ones as I explained. If I confused you I will try to get some measurements and pictures of what I mean.

Im not to fond of the short bed idea either, but it will make the truck more driveable, and short beds have really started to grow on me. Plus I have an extra crew cab frame to cut down so why not. Just time, got most of the stuff I need.
