Only reason for the premium was because with the performance chip I was told it's a requirement. I may try mid-grade and see if there are any pinging issues and if not maybe drop down to low grade and try that. I didn't notice an extreme difference between this chip and the oem chip so it might be worthwhile going back to the OEM chip and running low grade fuel to really save.
