I always go to the carpet store and ask if they have a pile of samples about to be tossed out. I've always had luck finding a pair of matching samples and they fit very nicely for floor mats in trucks. Most of the time they'll give them to you, every once in a while they'll ask for $5 for a pair. Sometimes I get lucky and find samples that are about 1' by 4', they make nice runners.
Heck, I have my toolbox drawers lined with carpet made from samples even.
