I registered my '61 a couple weeks ago and the DMV bases the registration cost off the 'value' of the vehicle. The 'value' of my truck was the worst possible grade (no motor, not driveable, etc) and they 'valued' this heap at $4,000!! LOL
today that little shorty is sitting pretty with a 350/350 combo that purs like a kitten... wonder what they think its worth now
