Re: 4:10 locker

It seems people are trying to get a lot more lately...like $300. I've never paid more than $150 including shipping, but I always just ask for the locker unit w/o the chunk. I'm not sure if the $300 ones sold. I got one in the last year shipped from Alaska for no more than $125. I bought a whole axle for $100 a few years ago. Shipping the whole thing ups the cost a good bit,yet that saves installation cost. But,I do my own. I sold a No-Spin this summer for $175,just the locker. The way I see it,they should be worth a good bit since they aren't available new and new 14-bot lockers run over $500 and they need installation. But,with the trend of people getting away from their HO52/72s in favor of 14-bolts,the prices needs to be attractive enough. Not many want to put a whole lot of money into these good old axles. I will and there are others. Just getting to be a limited crowd.
