Update.
After hours of work, ( as an amateur) I finally have the outer floors, lower fenders, rockers and cab corners replaced on my 65 fleet-side short bed. No formal training, just bought a wielder read some information and tore into it.
I would like to thank everyone on this site that has expressed their knowledge and encouragement for others. I love the pictures that everyone posts and I know it gives me the motivation to try things I had never done. I am still not decided exactly the direction I am taking this build. I knew that I personally couldn't live with rusted out floors and rockers. I know I want a Flat paint, or even thought about a wrap, but I don't think a wrap will last for the long run.
