I would be concerned with the push rod flexing to much or bending during a panic stop and the excess stress on the threaded connector at the end near the boost unit. Most all the long brake rods I have seen are pull type not push type.

Putting 2 heim joint along the rod would help a great deal with the flex. Putting one at the booster next to the connector and one mid way on the rod.
