Putting 2 heim joint along the rod would help a great deal with the flex. Putting one at the booster next to the connector and one mid way on the rod.
I was worried about this also so i talked ton an engineer about it.
The rod is 3/4" seamless. I doubt I will have the strength to flex it.
If I do I will just step up to some 1" and that should cure any problem.
