This happened to the bolts for the top on mine. I'm not 100% sure you can access the visor nuts the way i fixed mine but here's what i did.

First I cut or ground the head of the bolt off. Then I fished the old nut out through the hole where the door seal goes with a combination of air pressure and a wire. To install a new nut i drilled two 3/16'ish holes on either side of the bolt hole then tack welded some mechanic wire to a nut and pushed it in through the door seal hole. Once you get it to the hole use a long bolt to thread in the nut and hold it out tight and weld rosette's using the 3/16 holes you drilled.
