Re: 73 battery drain, how to check out?
I had this happen to me on a '76 Nova I had. It turns out the horn button was stuck in the contact position in the steering wheel and since the horn was disconnected I couldn't find out what the hell was draining my battery. Then one day I decided to hook the horn up and it blasted my ears out and after I fixed the button, my battery never drained again.
Not saying that is your issue but it is one possibility. Good luck!
