I just had a close look at it and it would have to be move forward about 3 inches which would put the shift linkage at a pretty steep upward angle. The linkage is universal for many instalations but the instuctions suck big time. Right know it shifts real nice. I know the 70's and 80's GM trucks had a 90 degree bend adapter on the autos. If I can find one of them it may work.
