When I was younger (around 12), I was set on having a '68 K2500 with a V6 and putting a 478M in it. There is something about the V6's that keeps calling my name. I had a line on a 702 awhile back but it got away.

Was the compression ratio still around 17-20:1 or was it lower? What would it take to convert a gas motor to a carburated diesel?
