Only for bench bleeding the master cylinder. The syringe doesn't have the volume to bleed a brake circuit.

I have a homemade ACE 2gal garden sprayer pressure bleeder for actually bleeding brakes. It cost me $30 in parts 7 years ago. I just screw on the MC cap, pump it up to 18psi, and open the valve. Liter pop bottles make great catch cans.
