Thanks for the pic Andy. Cory told me earlier that the sides of the thin 882's were scalloped profile but it was hard to see what with the ramhorns and sparkplug heat shields in the way. Now I know what I'm looking for and can say I definitely have the thick wall 882's. BTW, I too had the temp up to 260 degrees on occasion. I was driving with a bad rad (bottom 1/4 was plugged) for a few years and everything held together just fine. But I did need to install a rad overflow tank,  .
