Not everyone pays attention nor has access to a build manual etc. If you look at a lot of the clones there are always missing pieces, tailgate handles being a huge one. All supers got a bright tailgate handle (if a fleetside), in 71 the actual handle was chromed, in 72 it was a slip on cover over the stock handle. These are very hard to find and only one person repops them (wes at classic heartbeat). It is funny that most of these clone trucks also ironically are missing the SPID on the glove box door as well. The headliner and cargo light are also indicators but can be faked and tough to tell unless you take out the liner or at least remove the trim- people snap off the tabs that locate it on the cab and just use the screws, and I would guess the cargo light interior holes are difficult to duplicate. These are just a few things that are give aways, but you have to look.
