You run the air line and fittings out of the bag, but instead of using a valve and onboard compressor/tank set-up there is a schrader valve at the end of the line (similar to the old school air shocks). You can fill with a shop compressor... just not on the fly. We use the schrader set-up on the projects in the shop. Many guys will run them on their finished project, as you get the ride quality and adjustability/tuning that a bag offers without all the expense of an air management. Great option for a "semi-static drop".

Dloe's valves are a nice affordable set-up as well. Great option for an adjustable set-up while staying within the budget.
