on the slave it probably depends if you have lift or not. i'm puting one in a 72 i'm working on that has 3'' of lift and it is nowhere close to interfering with the front drive line. The pass. side header is closer to the driveline than the slave is. I'm using a divorced np205 out of a international with a 2wd Nv4500 out of a 94 3/4 ton chevy
