also, i used a cig lighter type compressor until i mounted my viair 380. i still need alot of stuff still. you can go to o'rielly's or carquest and find a schrader valve fitting for like 3 dollars. i think they are 1/8 inch so go to lowes or hd and get some fittings to get you back up to 1/2
