yep, a muncie can be broken quite handily... trust me! Verified or not, call me skeptical on this one. Why not just buy an m22 in a muncie case - they can be found at about any swap meet. Might be a little more than $750, but not always. You sound hesitant (or maybe that's just me feeling hesitant for you), so I'm not sure I'd personally dive in.

Depending on the automatics you've blown out - don't feel that buying an m22 is the end of your driveline breakage (sounds as though you might drive like, well, like I drove when I was your age). Once I got the M21 in my 57 chev beefed up, I blew out 3 rear ends in short order, one on the post install test drive (), so start saving for that too as soon as you can.... Or "modify" the driving habits (I know, I know, my dad couldn't get me to modify mine either)
