The axle flip will put the pumpkin really close to your rear floor. Seems like my '77 was done with hangers and shackles in the rear, and spindles and drop springs in the front. I had it about 6-7 years ago, so the details are sketchy, and I didn't do the lowering, either. I do remember the springs and spindles for sure. I know there was no C-notch, either.
