Greetings from Texas

Howdy!

My name is Wayne and I live in Whitesboro Texas.

What brings me to your great site?

Well, my youngest son is a little different than most 15 year olds as he decided he wanted (when he was 14) a 1970 Cuda, a 1970 El Camino, or a 1967 to 1972 Chevy truck as his 1st vehicle. Once he found out how much the Cuda would cost him he narrowed it down to either an El Camino or a Chevy P/U. After looking at a few different vehicles on the internet and at a couple of auctions in Dallas he finally decided on the Chevy truck. We’ve been looking since last summer, but got real serious in October. We found (by accident) a nice 1971 Cheyenne Super last Monday in Pilot Point Texas – literally 20 miles away and will take delivery this coming Monday. I don’t know who is more excited.

My 1st vehicle was a 1969 Chevy which after a year I traded up to a 1970 Chevy. I currently have a 1972 GMC 4X4 which has been in the family since the early 90’s.

Anyway, the 1971 we bought is a nice truck but needs some minor issues attended to which is great because my son is already making a list of things we need to do. I am familiar with the trucks but by no means an expert.

So with that said, here I am.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
