I built a console that extends from the dash, between the front driver/passenger seats and drops down to go under the middle seat. And I hid the A/C hoses in it that are meant to cool the 3rd row. I've even talked to Geoff (GCBURDIC) about how I had considered one of the smaller Vintage Air units to boost the rear air, because I think I am pushing the limits of a Gen II system ...hmmm, wonder if I gotta pic? Ironically, the console I used as a base was a Jeep Wrangler console, which has a built in cooler, haha.

ya can't really see it, here, but it drops down at a curved angle to where it is only about 5 inches high. I actually even used the same Vintage Air vents. You can BARELY see the top of them in this photo:
