It takes power to push these trucks fast, gearing only helps a little bit. This is because of poor aerodynamics. Wind restiance goes up quite a bit above 60mph in one of these trucks. I would say your motor proably needs somemore power. It should be able to go about 100mph with 3.73 gears without rapping the motor too tight. I would say put on the headers and some dual exhaust. It should help out a bit.
