i used 2500's which are small and dont require cups. cups help with lift and also keep the 2600's or 2700's up high enough off the lca so they dont rub and blow out. you can use 2500's as long as you are able to keep the bag centered so it doesnt rub. some people weld a little plate to the bottom of the lca and drill a hole to mount the bottom bag bolt. if your using 2600's and up, you can cut the lower bag cup down an inch to get the bag as low as possible before it rubs. its best to use the cups and then cycle the bags up and down and see if you can cut the cup. it is easy to take them back off after you test fit it if you end up cutting an inch off them. another way: look at lucifer's 73 build for pics of cutting the lca's and welding a boxed in plate so it ends up being a lowered control arm and also room for bigger bags to sit way down in the arm. if you build those you will save 230 bucks because you wont have to get drop spindles. it should be easy for a cerified welder....you can do it
