are you running a custom grind cam, that you need to verify built in advance?
I've never bothered doing it, but any cam I've bought has been a "shelf" grind. I've heard some say its essential, others say it doesn't matter at all.
edit; if you changed reluctor wheels or something I can see why this would be essential.
ls1tech is full of 100 threads full of b.s. on the topic, IMO if you can do it, you're probably better off than those of us that didn't bother.
