i am in no way trying to criticize anyone, but please at least consider what i am saying----we judge too much on appearance alone in this society. This must change if we are to progress. We are better than this and we must lead by example.

Okay thanks for listening, and enjoy the contest.

Do you realize what you are asking for? The ToTM contest takes a lot of work to put together as it is. Trying to add the requirements you suggest is ludicrous at best.
If you feel this contest isn't run properly, I suggest you consider volunteering some of your time to create a entry form that breaks down the cost of a build in spreadsheet so all the criteria is calculated in percentages.
Once you have a fair and equal formula set, you will need a support team to verify that each ToTM entries facts are true. This may require you and your team a few extra days to request receipts to authenticate the many purchases, trades, and exchanges used by each member.
Don't forget to create a value formula based on the region they live in, factoring in things like rust free parts are abundant in some areas and not in others. You will also need a labor rate for each region to calculate each entries cost percentages.
The list could get pretty lengthy, so you may want to take some time off from your work, or consider spending less time working on your project. I'm sure your family and friends won't mind you missing functions so you can work on this.
Of course an alternative would be that you could consider just allowing this contest to be accepted for what it is and appreciate the effort that goes in to making it happen.
