Yeah, I was thinking the same thing on the laquer thinner. Might try it this weekend. I'll probably still end up going over it with some of the vinyl dye, though, if nothing else to ensure a match with the door panels. Is there any secret to prepping for that stuff since this is more of an ABS plastic than a more pourous vinyl material? Obviously you dont want to use any typ of sand paper. Maybe wiping down with alcohol? Is the SEM dye something available at the auto body supply houses?
