Most auxiliary liquid to air coolers are not even close to being large enough to cool a transmission by itself.
Modern transmissions with aluminum valve bodies perform better when the fluid is around 180 to 190 degrees.

If your running just the liquid to air......The trans doesnt warm up like it should & you run the risk of it overheating in stop & go driving.

I hope none of you guys are running a stall converter
