I worked on the headlight today. I had to put the flange in so that it could be bolted to the fender then started to fit the 1955 chevy headlight brow. After plenty of slicing and dicing, hammering and dollying I got the drivers side done. There is a reason why you do not see it too often , it was very time consuming(all day). But it does really look nice. My buddy saw Alan Johnson's (the pinstriper) truck had that modification. Next is to finish gaping the drivers door. I did not gap them when I put the panels in it this past summer. I knew once it was bolted to the frame it might change. The only area that does not need done it where I shaved the drip rail and replaces all the metal around it. Then I will turn it around and do the other side. That should be this week and weekend.
