Re: edelbrock-holley
I'm a quadrajet guy, so I'll compare my Edelbrock 1407 750 cfm to one. Still pretty new to carbs, but this is the best I can do for ya.
Pros: Easy to tune
Easy to rebuild
They look nice when polished up :p
Cons: Ancient technology, not as fine tunable
I personally got less mileage out of my Edelbrock than I did my Q-jet.
My suggestion is to pawn it off and get a good Holley that you like, or a Q-jet. I was pretty much forced to get the Edel as the aluminum intake I put on it was a square bore and I didn't want to run any adapters.
