I've never ran a holley, but a good friend of mine has. He must have gotten a bad one because it wouldn't stay tuned. He eventually swapped over to an Edelbrock and has been real happy with it. From what I've read once holley's are tuned right, you can get more power than you can with an edelbrock. Edelbrocks are easy to tune and are good for drivability. And nothing beats a properly tuned quadrajet. I just finished rebuilding a quadrajet and now I get to learn how to tune it.
