They actually sound pretty darn good for being under the seat. It gives them more base but does muffle the mid and high range a bit. They are a lot louder than I was expecting.

Remote control for the stereo is a must have
The buttons and controls on the radio faceplate are small and too close together. Hard to make selections with fat fingers while you're bouncing down the road at 70mph. Ain't like the old 2 large round knobs.
I used to think, why do I need a remote? Once you get used to the layout, it becomes an extension of your right hand. No looking over. Volume up & down, change the station, skip the track, all becomes safe and easier.
Almost makes me miss the old in-dash Pioneer 8-track
