Mine is a longbed on an extended cab s10 fame, see my signature for the build.
The AD longbed is NOT 8 feet long, and you DO NOT have to cut before and after the rear fenders, just before. The AD 3800 9 foot bed you would, but not the 3/4 ton longbed.
