3.73 would be best, 4.10 is pretty high for running on the street. What year is your truck, it might already have 3.73 gears. They were pretty common for the pre-71 trucks. Then just buy a 4 series posi carrier, and have it installed professionally. It really isn't something you can do very well on your own. There are a lot of tolerances that need to be measured.
