Plastic bins and organization. Take out stock in sharpies. I have disassembled my Chevelle and all of the components are in boxes and totes with toe tags on them to keep track of all of the parts. As I restore a part I put the tag back on it. Also figure out the direction you want to go so you do not waste money on parts you do not need.

1 disassemble the entire truck and keep track of all of the parts.

2. Survey the parts and the vehicle as to what you are going to need to get the job done.

3. Make a parts list of have to have and nice to have. Nice to have can wait until the truck is running and back on the road. For me and the Chevelle is air conditioning.

4 Start re-assembly from the ground up.
