One thing that always concerned me about removing the crossmember is that you won't have any protection if you drop a front u-joint. There's always that possibility that you could be doing cartwheels down the road if you did in fact lose the front u-joint. Kinda scares me. I guess if you did remove it, at least run a set of driveshaft loops. I dunno, maybe I'm just anal about things, and worry too much
