ls1nova71 "I AM CANADIAN" lol, and here in edmonton we've been colder than siberia a few times in the passed few years (one solid week of -45*c or colder), but this is negligable because my truck will not see winter.
my truck (turbo'd lq9, 4l80e) will see summer cruises to car shows, and trips to and down the 1320'. is there a "best" way of plumbing or is this another one of those arguable opinion deals? any help or opinions appreciated!

There's another canadian on this thread, that's why I said that. Lol! But the way you said in your first paragraph is the way tthe OEMs run them for towing applications so i would think you'd be fine that way.
