It's a Cummins!!! Not a pos dodge ram!! Just because dodge quit using them in 98 did not stop countless other company's from using them in thousands of other applications. It's my understanding that you can still purchase a new 12v for off highway applications. Anyhow my motor was a factory replacement for a 95, 2 ton truck. the I'd tag on the motor and p7100 have the stamped production date of 2002. Also I might add that this motor was purchased new from cummins in 2007, and installed at that time by a cummins dealer. It now has 67k miles on it.
I knew it was only a matter of time before some one asked. Thanks for not trying to tell me I had a 24v vp44 motor like most people, lol
