Re: door hinge pin kit

I replaced the driver side top hinge pin and bushings in 20 mins. Door has no play in it now.

Step 1: Open door all the way and support with floor jack (Put something soft in between door and jack);

Step 2: Cut old pin in the middle using a dremel or other suitable (small) cutting tool;

Step 3: Slide old pin pieces and bushing out (Remember how the bushings came out, ie. in between or above the hinge flanges); and

Step 4: Replace bushings and pin. You will need to tap the pin from above to seat it in the new bushing.

Mine were from LMC. Brass bushings with steel pin. 10 bucks for 2 pins and 4 bushings.
